The American Express Delta Sky Miles Card is great for people who like to travel, or who are interested in collecting airline miles. American Express also has a Platinum Card. This gives you access to the Membership Rewards First program. This program gives you one point for every dollar you spend. Use your points for travel, entertainment, dining, and more in "The First Collection". There is no pre-set spending limit. The annual fee is $450, and the APR is zero if you pay your balance in full each month. Platinum Cardholders can take advantage of a Concierge service, access to airport lounges around the world, and personal travel assistance.

The Starwood Preferred Guest Credit Card gives you one star point for each eligible dollar that you spend. Redeem those points on free nights in hotels, or on flights. There is no annual fee for the first year, and it will be $45 after that. The APR is 2.90% for the first six months, and then it could be 11.25%. You can earn 10,000 star points with your first purchase.

The Premiere Rewards Gold Card lets you collect points on the airline, gas, grocery, and all other purchases you make. The first year has no annual fee, and I cannot find information about what it will change to after that. You can earn 10,000 bonus points with your first purchase. There is also the Blue from American Express that gives travelers extra points on the travel related purchases they make.
